LiuGo Privacy Policy

LiuGo is a low-pressure dog-walking companion. We use and store only the information needed to provide the app's core features. You must read and agree to this policy before first using the app.

Information Used by LiuGo

LiuGo stores the following information on your device:

• Your dog's name, rank, walking intensity, and related settings
• Walk records, including start time, end time, distance, duration, and route points
• Walking streaks, tasks, challenges, coins, treats, passes, and outfit status
• Your configured walk reminder times

LiuGo uses location only after you actively start a walk. Location tracking stops when you end the walk.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Most LiuGo data is stored locally on your device. After you accept this policy, Apple iCloud Key-Value Store may sync lightweight data such as coins, treats, outfits, task status, and dog settings between devices using the same Apple Account.

Apple CloudKit private database may sync walk dates, distances, and normalized route shapes that do not contain real latitude or longitude coordinates. Full GPS route points remain only on your device and are not uploaded to a server operated by us.

We do not operate our own data server and cannot use LiuGo data to identify you in real life.

Retention and Controls

• Local data remains until you uninstall LiuGo or erase its app data
• iCloud data is managed by Apple under your Apple Account and can be removed through iCloud storage management
• You may disable location, notifications, or iCloud in system settings; related features may then be unavailable

Notifications

If you enable reminders, LiuGo uses local system notifications for scheduled walks and active-walk status reminders. You may disable them at any time in LiuGo or system settings.

Apple Services and Third Parties

LiuGo uses Apple location, notifications, iCloud Key-Value Store, and CloudKit services. It contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

• We do not sell personal data
• We do not use third-party advertising tracking
• We do not use walking routes for advertising profiles
• We do not actively share walk records with third parties

Children

If you are under 14, use LiuGo with a parent or guardian who has reviewed and agreed to this policy.

Changes to This Policy

If our data practices change materially, we will update this policy and request consent again when required.

Permissions

• Location: records route, distance, and duration during an active walk
• Notifications: sends walk reminders and active-walk status reminders
